I am a grad student in Meteorology at Texas A&M University, and I am
extremely interested in the internet hoax phenomenon; they're often
hilarious but almost always irritating at the same time.  I am constantly
mailed TOTAL CRAPOLA such as the following:

I looked at NY Times website and the archives, of course, have no such
article.  This isn't even possible...how do roach eggs get into saliva
glands?!  Ridiculous.
